Welcome to Gamz: The Next Chapter for Fixi and Sportfix

Today marks an exciting milestone in our journey.

Over the coming weeks, Fixi and Sportfix will come together under one unified brand: Gamz.

For many years, Fixi has helped sports venues and organisations manage competitions, while Sportfix has connected players and teams to the competitions they love. Although the two platforms have always worked closely together, operating under separate brands has often created unnecessary complexity for customers.

By bringing everything together under Gamz, we are creating a simpler, more connected experience for everyone involved in social sport.

One Platform. One Brand.

The move to Gamz reflects how our products have evolved.

What started as two complementary platforms has become a complete ecosystem that supports organisers, venues, teams, and players before and after the game. Unifying under a single brand allows us to communicate more clearly, innovate faster, and deliver a more seamless experience across our products.

As part of this transition:

  • Fixi will become Gamz Engine
  • Sportfix will become Gamz Connect
  • Customers will begin to see the Gamz brand across our website, mobile apps, communications, and support resources

Importantly, existing competitions, data, settings, and workflows will remain unchanged.

Why Gamz?

At its core, Gamz represents a simple belief: social sport should be easy.

We know that administrators, venue managers, volunteers, players, and teams all have enough to manage without complicated systems getting in the way. Our goal has always been to simplify competition management, increase participation, and help organisations create great sporting experiences.

The new brand reflects that commitment and provides a stronger foundation for the future.

A Simpler Subscription Model

Alongside the launch of Gamz, we are introducing a simplified subscription model for new customers.

Rather than charging based on the number of courts or playable spaces, new customers will have access to a straightforward flat-rate subscription designed to make pricing easier to understand and scale.

As part of this change, our Free and Basic subscription plans will be discontinued. Customers currently on these plans will be contacted directly in the coming weeks with further information about the available subscription options and transition process.

For existing customers on Professional plans, current subscription plans will remain in place. To support ongoing investment in the platform, infrastructure, support services, and future product development, pricing will increase by $5 per court per month effective 5 July 2026.

We have not increased our pricing since September 2022 and remain committed to delivering exceptional value for sports organisations of all sizes.

To ensure customers always receive the best available value, any existing customer whose subscription would cost more than the new Gamz flat-rate plan after the adjustment will be automatically moved to the lower-priced flat-rate subscription.

The launch of Gamz is more than a rebrand.

It represents our continued commitment to building beautifully simple technology that helps organisations maximise participation, reduce administration, and grow stronger sporting communities.

We are incredibly grateful for the support of our customers, partners, and users who have been part of this journey so far.
